Friday Preview Book Sales for Member of Friends of The San Pedro Library only. Fridays 2-5 p.m.

Saturdays 11-4 p.m. open to the public.

We also have our own store within the Library which is open Monday-Saturday from 1-5 p.m.

You may join the Friends Group at any of the Book Sales or contact the Branch Librarian.

Donations accepted during book store and book sale hours.

We have soft and hardcover bestsellers, art books, cookbooks, children's books, coffee table books, videos, CDs, DVDs, books in series, magazines, and much more. The prices range from 50 cents to a few dollars so come and browse our stacks. Photos by Pat Lynch.

Friends have published two cookbooks, “Around The World-Around Our Town” (1986) and “Around The World-Around Our Town”(1998). The books are composed of recipes from local cooks in San Pedro and restaurants, which are mostly gone now. They are truly a piece of local history and if you are interested in purchasing them, they are on sale at the Friends Book Store at $8.00 or the two for $15.00. A true bargain and all the money raised goes toward supporting our programs at the Library.
